In addition, we provided them with an overview of the previous editions of this program, so that they could better understand what awaits them and what opportunities are in front of them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our last year&#8217;s SIA winners, Ema and Frane, also joined the Kick-Off meeting and shared their experiences and useful tips for future SIA participants.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the questions they reviewed:<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>How did you come up with the idea for your project and what prompted you to apply for the SIA program?<\/li>\n<li>What were the biggest challenges you faced\/faced while working on the project\/the whole program and how did you overcome them?<\/li>\n<li>Did you acquire any useful skills during your participation in the program that you will apply in the future?<\/li>\n<li>How did winning the SIA award affect you, your environment and the work of your team?<\/li>\n<li>Do you have any plans for the future of your project or perhaps some new ideas on how to continue to create a positive impact in your community?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">And they also shared useful tips:<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Report an idea, no matter how big and complex it is. Act locally and think globally! Start with small changes in your local communities because you never know where the road will take you,&#8221; advised Frane.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ema said that the application process is not difficult and that it is definitely worth trying.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They are both now working on further ideas. Ema and her team founded an association, and Frane works on other projects of local significance in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Omi\u0161.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fourth edition of the Social Impact Award program is knocking on our door, and <a href=\"https:\/\/huki.hr\/\">HUKI<\/a> is implementing it in cooperation with the Central State Office for Demography and Youth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do you want to follow all the news related to the Social Impact Award program?
