It consists of a series of events and workshops aimed at spreading and raising awareness of social entrepreneurship. Through the program, implemented by <a href=\"https:\/\/huki.hr\/\">HUKI<\/a> , we teach participants the skills necessary to turn ideas into entrepreneurial ventures. We also provide participants with access to mentors and professionals in the implementation of the idea and help them promote the best teams!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this year&#8217;s Social Impact Award, a total of three teams won the jury prize, specifically financial support, while one team won the Community Award.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">The winning teams of this year&#8217;s Croatia Social Impact Award<\/h2>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The <strong>O`Bus<\/strong> project is an innovative idea for an application that could be used to track all buses in public transport. The goal of the application is, on the one hand, to enable passengers to see where the bus is and if there are traffic jams, they can use their time more wisely instead of waiting at the station. On the other hand, <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in this way, the carrier can retain a larger number of permanent users by connecting their satisfaction, time saving and quality of public transport.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>ReClo<\/strong> as a platform that unites all factories, brands, fashion studios, tailors, but also the mass public with the aim of exchanging textile remnants, repro, excess, pre-production, post-production and deadstock material. The purpose of the ReClo innovative project is to save business from paying state penalties due to environmental negligence and an inappropriate EPR business model, and of course &#8211; saving the planet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sport Museum of Zagreb<\/strong> is an interactive museum where visitors to<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in one place they can experience various sports and learn interesting facts about each. This project aims to raise awareness of the importance of playing sports. Also, through the organization of interactive and educational activities, we want to encourage sports activities and recreation and show the &#8220;magnitude&#8221; of sports achievements of Zagreb athletes.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">SIA Summit as an exclusive event organized for SIA winners<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/summit.socialimpactaward.net\/\">SIA Summit 2022<\/a> brings together more than 120 young social innovators from Europe, Central Asia and East Africa. <strong>The event is exclusively designed for SIA winners<\/strong> , and for the first time also for SIA Alumni from more than 18 countries around the world. In addition to inspiring and providing knowledge and tools to take ventures to the next level, the SIA Summit strengthens connections and supports project owners in taking the next steps towards engagement in the SIA community.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We have been hanging out at this year&#8217;s SIA Summit since the 15th. until 19 November in Vienna, at the Erste Campus. Our SIA coordinator Blanka Hlad, who also represented HUKI at the Summit, took this year&#8217;s SIA winners with her: Fran Maru\u0161i\u0107, Ema Sedli\u0107 and Nika Bucala.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">SIA Summit 2022 program<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year&#8217;s SIA Summit program is conceived as a conference with five main formats: skills, labs, peer-to-peer, community and expeditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through these formats, we learned and heard more about <strong>financial planning, fundraising, public speaking, CSR, climate, social impact, team building<\/strong> and many other topics needed to manage impactful social ventures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In conclusion, the SIA Summit was an excellent entrepreneurial experience where we connected with other young innovators, learned new skills and learned in which spheres of our activity we can increase our impact.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery el_id=&#8221;gallery-142760&#8243;
