“Little act, true change” is an international project on entrepreneurship co-financed by the European Union within the Erasmus+ program, which includes two youth exchanges.

The first youth exchange took place on September 13, 2022. until 19.9.2022. in Croatia. It was attended by 30 young people aged 18 to 30 from the following countries and organizations:

Erasmus+ youth exchange consists of numerous activities aimed at helping young people learn about certain topics through informal education , in this case in the field of entrepreneurship. On our exchange, we tried various techniques: energizers, acting, video recording, using digital tools like Padlet and Kahoot, drawing, quizzes, music and dance, movies, and even – believe it or not – silence!

Where to start? We worked on defining entrepreneurship, understanding the target group, developing projects, finding passion through the Ikigai method, creating a business plan, pitching and self-reflection. All participants in the teams had the opportunity to develop their own entrepreneurial idea and present it to others in a short pitch, after which the best idea – just like in any other entrepreneurial competition – won the most funding from investors. In addition, video materials were recorded on several important topics: business model, entrepreneurship, ikigai, pitch and target group.

The entire exchange was led by experienced facilitator Mirko Logožar , founder of the educational platform Different .

In addition to everything, we also visited local entrepreneur Marijana Brcko in the town of Oroslavje, who introduced us to her own business ventures related to OPG Brcko , which she stepped into together with her brother Nikola Brcko. On their ranch , they offer a variety of events, primarily for the youngest, such as birthday parties and educational workshops about nature and animals. There is also the possibility of camping in a rural idyll. In addition, Marijana is engaged in writing stories for children and theta healing, and she also invented cards of emotional needs that help children express their emotions. From Marijana, we received a lot of useful information about entrepreneurial steps , as well as numerous tips on how to use time in the best possible way, how to balance private and business life, and why the support of loved ones is important.

As we mentioned at the beginning, “Little act, true change” is an international project that includes two youth exchanges. The second youth exchange takes place in December in Georgia . At the moment, all places for participation are already filled, but be sure to follow us to see how it was for us on our trip there.

If you are interested in something more about Erasmus+ projects , would like to participate in them or maybe volunteer at various activities that HUKI carries out, feel free to contact us at blanka@huki.hr

See you! 🙂

The rest of the photos are available below in the gallery.
