“ConnAction” is a training within the Erasmus+ program intended for everyone who works with young people or participates in organizations that work with young people.
More about the “ CONNACTION “ project
The primary goal of the project is to use mindfulness and body movement methodology to improve our personal and professional lives. The training was conducted by the organization Active Bulgarian Society in cooperation with trainers Robert Ach-Hübner, Luci Sitarová and Giovanni Marino.
“ ConnAction “ gathered 38 participants (as many as five of them from Croatia) from a total of eight different countries:
- Spain
- Italy
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Greece
- Romania
- North Macedonia
- Bulgaria
It was intended for everyone who is over 18 years old and who is interested in how to calm their mind, harmonize with their body and gain new knowledge, and it took place from April 28, 2023. to 7.5.2023. in Bansko, Bulgaria.
Dissemination of the “ConnAction” project
The goal of the project was for the participants to become aware of the internal movements in themselves caused by their own body movements and other external influences in order to get to know themselves and ultimately be able to help other young people they meet in their everyday life in their personal and professional lives so that they too they know themselves in the same way.
One of our project participants, Monika P. , together with her team created a manual on contact improvisation and its exercises so that young people could explore their kinesthetic possibilities of the body moving through contact. What does it look like and what exercises others can also try mindfulness , you can check it at the following link:
And what do the participants say about the “ ConnAction ” project?
- “What I can say is that I’m glad I attended this project because I learned new ways related to body movement that we can use to express ourselves. What was also new to me and what I was glad I learned was meditation. I think it is something that is useful to practice in everyday life to feel better both mentally and physically. Also, this was a wonderful experience for me, because I had the opportunity to meet new people from other countries and different cultures. Although I at the beginning it was not easy to come alone to an unknown country and to be surrounded by people unknown until then, in the end I think it was one of the better decisions I made.”
– Nada B.
- “This project was a lot of “firsts” for me: the first training course, the first Erasmus+ project, the first visit to Bulgaria, the first contact with Italians who speak excellent English… Among other things, it was the first time I heard about mindfulness in a context that is not necessarily related to meditation. Because being mindful or aware can be done at any time and in any place. For me, being aware of the taste of great Bulgarian food and the beautiful sights that Bansko offers in the middle of the mountains was the best possible use of time. The contact I made with the movements in my body, but also with the people I saw for the first time in my life, were quite deep considering the relatively short time I spent in Bansko. What I experienced in Bansko certainly had a very positive impact on me and my future life. I am looking forward to every future participation in Erasmus+ projects, my own and others’, and I recommend everyone to venture on new adventures without fear.”
– Monika P.
